Givens Books and Little Dickens

If you haven’t been to Givens Books & Little Dickens yet, you’re missing out! This book and toy store on Lakeside Drive is a virtual paradise for moms and kids. Your little ones will enjoy “test driving” the toys and games in their expansive children’s department, and you’ll love browsing the new and used books, as well as music and educational materials (there is an entire section devoted to school curriculum, so if you’re homeschooling, this is a must-see). Grab your favorite drink from the Drowsy Poet coffee shop in the store, then head outside where the kids can enjoy the playground, complete with swings and a colorful train.
